Top NFL Week 3 – Odds, Predictions & Best Bets

There is some anxiety for a few teams as we head into Week 3 of the NFL season. The Bengals are 2-0 for the first time since the end of the Marvin Lewis era in 2018, but it looks as though they’ll have to navigate the next few months without Joe Burrow behind center. Several other high profile quarterbacks are either out or questionable for games this week, including Jayden Daniels in Washington and J.J. McCarthy in Minnesota. So, should you fade those teams on the NFL betting line in Week 3?

NFL Week 3 Parlay Picks

If you’re looking for ways to bet on the NFL other than the traditional moneyline, point spread and total they are out there. If you have confidence in several single wagers combine them into a parlay that yields a higher return. All the bets have to win in order to pay out, but it could be worth it.

As a reminder the picks below aren’t meant to be a 4-team parlay, rather wagers that can be used to supplement your parlay card and hopefully deliver a winning ticket. Two picks hit last week, both on the total, and I’ll look to improve that number as we head into Week 3 of the NFL season.

Josh Allen has a poor game by his standards and the Bills still win by 20. That shows us a lot about the makeup of the club. Miami is a mess heading into their Week 3 contest and Buffalo has won the last six meetings with payouts in three of the last four. The spread hasn’t been this high, but backing the Bills at home looks like a smart play.

The Bengals and Vikings will both be starting a backup on Sunday, but they aren’t your typical reserves. Jake Browning stepped in last week throwing two TD passes to help Cincy rally to victory. Former Eagles starter Carson Wentz is expected to start for the Vikings. The total dropped to 41.5, which is a small number by NFL standards.

Lastly, Houston’s defense tormented Trevor Lawrence last year and has done so in every game since Lawrence was drafted first overall in 2021. The Texans are 6-2 SU in those games. More is needed from C.J. Stroud and the offense and I think the group delivers for a win.

  • Bills -12 vs. Dolphins
  • Colts at Titans OVER 43.5
  • Bengals at Vikings OVER 41.5
  • Texans +2 at Jaguars

NFL Week 3 Teaser Picks

Theoretically all teaser bets should be winners since the line or total is being moved in our favor. However, the unpredictable nature of the NFL prevents that from happening. The Jets should’ve fared better in Week 1 and it looked like they were turning a corner with a new coach and QB. However, the club reverted to old ways in a 20-point loss to Buffalo and even the teased line didn’t help.

Philadelphia’s toughest game in their Super Bowl run last season was against the Rams, who they beat 28-22. Five of Philly’s last six wins over the Rams have been by 9 points or less. The two meet again and teasing the line in LA’s favor makes them a strong pick on my ticket.

If Daniels sits or is impaired on the field the Washington offense is going to suffer. And it’s not like the unit has been tearing it up on the field so far. The team formerly known as the Redskins is averaging just 19.5 points and will also be without Austin Ekeler, further impacting the productivity, so back the UNDER on the teased total against Vegas.

  • Raiders at Commanders UNDER teased total of 50.5
  • Rams teased spread of +9 at Philadelphia
  • Cardinals teased spread of +8 at San Francisco
  • Packers teased spread of -1.5 at Cleveland
