A busy early week of Tomorrow’s Golf League action concludes on Tuesday, Feb. 24 with a second straight doubleheader. A playoff participant a season ago, New York Golf Club currently sits below the cutoff line and will look to jump in the standings with matches against The Bay Golf Club followed by a duel with league-leading Boston Common Golf.
It’s been over a month since NYCG last pegged it up in an 8-3 win over Jupiter Links GC on Jan. 13. NY will make up for lost time playing both ends of the doubleheader. They are tied with 3 other teams with 2 points and currently in last place due to the tie-break rules. But NY has a match in hand as it hopes to reach the postseason for a second time.
TGL Week 8 Tuesday Preview
A hectic 2 days of TGL golf will see 5 of the 6 teams play at least one match. Atlanta, Boston and New York will play twice with Boston’s matches split over the 2 days. Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links squad is the only one not competing.
With just 2 points separating first place Atlanta from last place New York every team feels it can reach the playoffs. Every club has at least one win and Boston at 2-0-0 entering the week is the only team without a loss.
Defending champion Atlanta Drive GC appeared in control with a pair of wins to start the season, but an upset loss to Jupiter on Feb. 2 created all kinds of havoc. After missing out on the playoffs last season and failing to win a match, Boston can clinch a postseason berth with a win Monday or on Tuesday against New York.
- Though they have the same amount of points as the three teams ahead of them, New York is currently in last place on tie-breakers. The first criteria is holes won with NYGC at 11, 4 behind third place LA. However New York has a match in hand.
- Winning the match is always the top priority, but with the standings and tie-break numbers so close it would behoove teams to stay aggressive and win as many holes as possible.
- TGL betting odds for Tuesday’s matches have yet to be posted but title odds are up. A favorite before the season began, Boston Common currently tops the list at +285. Those numbers can shift dramatically based on the outcome of this week’s matches. NYGC is close behind at +295 with Atlanta having the third shortest odds+345.
- The Bay Golf Club (+650), Los Angeles Golf Club (+675) and Jupiter Links Golf Club (+850) round out the TGL futures odds board.
Tomorrow’s Golf League Schedule and Betting Lines
All 6 TGL golf teams are in the running with Tiger Woods’ outfit Jupiter Links the only one not competing this week. Based on the season results so far there is a good chance we see movement in the standings on Monday and Tuesday.
New York has a great opportunity to help itself for a return trip to the championship match. After losing a finals rematch to Atlanta in the opener, the team responded with a big 8-3 triumph over Jupiter Links.
NYGC will try to avenge a humbling 9-2 loss to The Bay in last season’s league opener. The team was swarmed from the start falling behind 6-0 before earning its first point in the final Triples hole. New York’s 3-man lineup for that initial match of Matt Fitzpatrick, Rickie Fowler and Xander Schauffele is back.
New York overcame a 0-2 start a season ago to finish 2-0-1 and claim the No. 4 seed. They got hot at the right time behind strong Singles play to reach the championship before falling to Atlanta in a tightly-contested series.
TGL Schedule
Tuesday, February 24, 2026
New York Golf Club (N/A) vs. The Bay Golf Club (N/A), 5 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Boston Common Golf (N/A) vs. New York Golf Club (NA), 9 p.m. ET (ESPN)
- Odds for nearly every match so far this season have been tight and the first tilt of the evening between NYGC and The Bay should fit right in that category. The Bay entered their most recent match as an underdog but used the strong play of alternates Neal Shipley and Luke Clanton to earn their first victory.
- The Bay opened with losses to the top teams falling 7-4 to Atlanta in their opener and 9-1 to undefeated Boston on Jan. 16. Shipley played a major role in the 11-5 win over LA on Feb. 9 sinking the first hole-in-one in TGB history and draining a clutch 6-foot birdie putt with the Hammer in play to avoid a 2-point swing.
- Boston has been the best team in the first half of the season and can secure a spot in the playoffs with a win. After not winning a match last season and earning just one point, the Ballfrogs have been the class of TGL winning their first 2 matches by a combined score of 16-6.
TGL Week 8 Tuesday Top Matchups
There’s a lot on the line in the first match between NYGC and The Bay. You could say New York has momentum after beating Jupiter Links 8-3 in its most recent match. However, that was over a month ago and the momentum has long since disappeared. The atmosphere at SoFi Center is more subdued, but not having played for some time could be a problem early along The Bay to strike fast.
Behind Rory McIlroy, Boston Common is playing superb TGL golf and the team looks to make up for a disappointing loss to NYGC last season. Boston was eliminated from the playoffs and NY secured fourth-place with a 10-6 win. The match was close until Singles play with LA winning 5-2 to secure the triumph.
Best TGL Bet for Week 8 Tuesday
- The Bay got a much-needed win last time out behind alternates Neal Shipley and Luke Clanton. The two played a major role in the win over LA with each picking up 2 points in Singles. And Shipley recorded the first TGL ace, holing out the 110-yard 5th. And if anything else the two youngsters were an inspiration for Min Woo Lee, who also had a role in the win. Expect the rest of The Bay to pick up the pace against New York.
TGL Week 8 Monday Betting Tips
- Playing twice in a day after not competing for more than a month could have an impact on New York. I’m leaning toward fading them early. Boston also appears to be on a roll but could take it easy in the nightcap depending on the result of Monday’s match. If you’re backing, wait and see what happens against Atlanta before throwing down.
