TGL Finals Preview: Expert Insights & Odds

Tiger Woods is used to winning at golf, only he’s done it on the course draining pressure-packed putts. As cheerleader and coach he led his Tomorrow’s Golf League Jupiter Links Golf Club to an upset of No. 1 seed Boston Common into the best-of-three TGL Finals with Los Angeles Golf Club.

TGL Finals Preview

There will be a new TGL title holder after last week’s thrilling semifinals saw regular season champ and top-seeded Boston Common Golf fall to Jupiter Links and defending SoFi Cup champion Atlanta overthrown by Los Angeles.

Los Angeles overcame the absence of Collin Morikawa to post a 6-4 win over Atlanta, outscoring the Season 1 champs 5-0 over the last 9 holes. The lineup of Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood and Justin Rose, three of the top ranked players in the world, sparked LA’s season-ending surge into the postseason.

If you backed Tiger Woods and his team in the TGL betting odds futures market you’re close to a big payday. After missing the playoffs last season Jupiter Links had the longest title odds on the board all season. They squirmed into the semifinals with a win and overtime loss in the final week of the regular season then upset Boston 9-5.

  • The first match of the best-of-three Finals is at 9 p.m. ET on Monday, March 23. Match 2 is set for Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. ET, and if needed a deciding third match will take place following Match 2. All matches are played at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
  • Both teams have something to prove after faltering in Season 1. LA went without a regulation loss and earned the top-seed. However, they were upset in the semifinals by No. 4 seed New York.
  • Jupiter Links missed the postseason entirely and was on the verge of not reaching the playoffs this season until a late season surge that saw them go 2-0-1 over the final 3 matches lifted them into 4th. The run continued in the semifinals with a 9-5 over Boston.
  • After losing their first 2 matches of the season quite decisively, Jupiter is on a roll and looking like a team of destiny. The run started with an 8-6 win over defending champion Atlanta on Feb. 2 with Akshay Bhatia, Max Homa and Kevin Kisner playing near flawless golf.
  • Needing a win in their final regular season match, Jupiter stunned everyone with an epic comeback to beat The Bay 9-6. Down 6-3 with 3 holes remaining JLGC took the lead on the next to last hole compliments of a Tom Kim ace with Hammer in place. Kevin Kisner secured the win with a 13-foot birdie putt capping a 6-0 run.
  • LA won the regular season match 8-4 on Jan. 20. There were 2 aces this season but Justin Rose may have had the shot of the year when he scored an albatross on the first Singles hole helping LA to the win. The score was closer than at appeared with LA claiming 3 points on the final 2 holes.
  • In a season of redemption Jupiter has another box to check. In last season’s match JLGC was embarrassed in a 12-1 loss to LA and has been outscored 20-5 in 2 matches.

Tomorrow’s Golf League Schedule and Betting Lines

Unlike the single-elimination semifinal round, the championship series is a best-of-three giving teams a little wiggle room. And with so much at stake there’s a good chance we see close, competitive matches. In last season’s SoFi Cup Finals Atlanta had a pair of 1-point wins to claim the first ever TGL title.

Jupiter has defied the experts all season getting as high as +1000 in the futures market. The TGL betting odds have shortened, which is what happens when the field of competitors shrinks. But Tiger’s group is once again the underdog opening at +110 with Los Angeles the favorite at -130

TGL Finals Schedule

Match 1 – Monday, March 23, 2026

4 Jupiter Links GC vs. 2 Los Angeles GC, 9 p.m. ET (ESPN2)

Match 2 – Tuesday, March 24, 2026

4 Jupiter Links GC vs. 2 Los Angeles GC, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Match 3 – Tuesday, March 24, 2026 (If necessary)

4 Jupiter Links GC vs. 2 Los Angeles GC, 9 p.m. ET (ESPN)

  • Jupiter is the hottest team rallying in the regular season then knocking off No. 1 seed Boston last week. It’s been quite a stretch for a team that lost 5 consecutive matches before going 2-0-1 down the stretch to qualify for the playoffs for the first time.
  • LA used the same lineup consisting of 3 of the top 5 ranked players in the world to win its final 2 matches. Morikawa, Fleetwood and Rose were out-scoring Atlanta and New York 13-6. The momentum didn’t change when Morikawa was forced out of THE PLAYERS with a back injury and missed last week’s semifinal match.
  • Sahith Theegala, a major contributor to the team’s success for 2 seasons, filled in flawlessly in the win over Atlanta as LA overcame a 3-0 deficit after 3 holes and stayed the course.

TGL Finals Top Matchups

Someone on the LA team will have to slow down Max Homa in Singles. Paired against Rory McIlroy in the semifinal match, Homa authored a clean sweep giving him 6 consecutive Singles wins. Homa secured the win over Boston with a par at No. 13 giving the ‘Night Night’ celebration made famous by Steph Curry, among others.

LA probably feels like a weight has been lifted. Faced with another early playoff exit – they were eliminated in last season’s semifinals as the No. 1 seed – the group rebounded to eliminate Atlanta guaranteeing a new TGL champ. Down 4-1 through 7 holes, LA regrouped with Fleetwood clinching the win with a birdie putt at No. 15.

Best TGL Finals Bet

  • The play of Jupiter over the second half of the season and into the playoffs has been inspiring. A bigger inspiration has been Homa in his Singles dominance leading to Jupiter’s run of success.
  • LA has received consistent play from Fleetwood and Rose, who were masterful in the comeback win over Atlanta last week. If Morikawa remains unavailable there is a quality player in Theegala to pick up the slack helping LA to the SoFi Cup trophy.

TGL Finals Betting Tips

  • Hammer strategy was not a part of Jupiter’s existence last season. The team didn’t have much success and lost valuable points that led to match defeats. Things have changed recently with Jupiter winning three straight Hammer holes helping them advance to the Finals. The Hammer was in play for Tom Kim’s dramatic ace in the epic comeback win over The Bay in the final regular season match.
