Super Bowl LX Prop Bets, Preview & Picks

The Super Bowl is the most wagered on sporting event in the U.S. and it rivals soccer for honors worldwide. A big reason for the handle on a football game is the enhanced menu for proposition bets. You don’t need a dog in the fight to wager on the Super Bowl. Props allow bettors to wager on unique aspects of the game beyond the final score.

Like daylight savings time aided golf courses, the extra week off between conference championship games and Super Bowl Sunday is a ploy by the NFL and sportsbooks to get as many betting options on the board as possible. And it’s worked with the number of props increasing every year.

Anything goes when it comes to the Big Game, and it usually does. The joy of prop betting is that you don’t have to pick a team in the game and you don’t even need to be a football fan. Props cover an extensive variety of topics from before, during and after the game.

Super Bowl LX Props Preview

  • The New England Patriots face the Seattle Seahawks in a Super Bowl rematch from a game 11 years ago. The contest takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET with NBC televising the game.
  • When it comes to betting on the Super Bowl there are the typical spread, moneyline and total wagers. And to refresh your memory, the Seahawks are a 4.5-point favorite on the NFL betting line with a moneyline price of -237. The Pats are getting 4.5 points and are +205 on the moneyline with the over/under set at 45.5 points.
  • The super bowl of sports betting is the Super Bowl. Not only are the traditional markets available but oddsmakers take it to another level for the Super Bowl with hundreds if not thousands of additional prop bets on the menu.
  • The whole thing has taken on a life of its own with subsets for props now a thing. For inexperienced gamblers the whole situation can be overwhelming. It really is quite easy, though, and a fun way to make what happens before, during and after the game a little more fun and interesting.
  • A prop bet is one that is not directly related to the outcome or score of the game but involves the teams and players. An exotic prop typically has absolutely nothing to do with the game, so you don’t have to be a fan of either team or the NFL to get involved.

Super Bowl LV Props Predictions

  • The props start before the game on Super Sunday with a timed over/under on the singing of the National Anthem. This year the Anthem will be performed by Charlie Puth, who said he intends to lock in a jazzy feel to the performance. If you get 120 seconds or more, taking the UNDER is the smart play.
  • There are props that can be analyzed to make a more informed choice and increase the chances of winning. The coin toss is not one of them. It’s simply a 50/50 proposition with recent trends having no bearing. But it’s still a fun wager. Like a number of prop bets this one has evolved to include which team wins the toss and if the team making the call is correct. As the designated visiting team Seattle makes the call.
  • A popular game prop is on the MVP. With Seattle favored to win, Sam Darnold is the favorite in this category at +120. Not a surprise since the starting QB on the winning team has won the award 34 times in the previous 59 Super Bowls. Jaxon Smith-Njigba offers plenty of value at +550 and should be targeted in this market.
  • Seattle scored 72 points in its 2 playoff games with Kenneth Walker hitting paydirt 4 times. The injury to Zach Charbonnet put Walker in a position to be the go-to guy and he’s delivered. He’s at negative odds for an anytime TD, but the odds become more favorable (+325) for the first TD scored.
