RBC Heritage 2026 Preview: Odds, Schedule & Viewing Guide

It’s a tough act following the season’s first major championship, but the RBC Heritage will attract a strong field as one of the PGA Tour’s Signature Events. Masters repeat champion Rory McIlroy will not be in attendance, however plenty of star power from Augusta will be in the field, including runner-up and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who is positioned as the outright betting favorite on the PGA golf odds.

What Is The RBC Heritage?

The fourth of eight Signature Events on the PGA Tour this season, the RBC Heritage is closing in on its sixth decade of existence. First played in 1969 the tournament has followed the season’s first major bringing a more relaxed atmosphere to the festivities even with an elite field of golfers. The Heritage is one of five invitation-only tournaments on the schedule with a limited field. In 2026 the Heritage will serve as the Tournament of Champions featuring all 2025 tournament winners bumping the roster to around 80 players.

Where Is The RBC Heritage Played?

For its entire existence the Heritage has been hosted by Harbour Town Golf Links at the Sea Pines resort on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. The course underwent a major renovation following the 2025 edition with a focus on rebuilt greens and bunkers. The track stretches to 7,213 yards at par-71 and is a challenge with narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers and small undulating greens.

The RBC Heritage Schedule

A limited field of around 70 golfers is scheduled to peg it up this week chasing the $20 million total prize purse. The tournament will be held over four days starting on Thursday, April 16 with the final round on Sunday, April 19. The format features 72 holes of stroke play with no cut line.

Paramount+ streams CBS’s weekend coverage and ESPN+ streams featured groups and holes for the entire tournament.

The RBC Heritage Betting Odds & Markets

The 2024 winner of this event, Scottie Scheffler is the prohibitive favorite and the only player on the early PGA odds betting board with shorter than 10/1 odds. Scheffler endured a rough stretch by his standards finishing outside the top 10 in three straight tournaments prior to his runner-up at the Masters.

Five of the top seven players on the opening odds board finished among the top 10 at Augusta last week with the other two placing among the top 25. Xander Schauffele finished T9 at the Masters and is the second favorite in a congested group after Scheffler. Russell Henley and Cameron Young finished with a share of third at Augusta and are two of five golfers with shorter than 20/1 odds on the early board.

Odds to win 2026 RBC Heritage

  • Scottie Scheffler +484
  • Xander Schauffele +1376
  • Matt Fitzpatrick +1821
  • Russell Henley +1876

  • Si Woo Kim +3384
  • Jake Knapp +3767
  • Robert MacIntyre +3818

In order to accommodate every 2025 tournament winner the field expanded by about 10 players. and with all of them having recently won the odds got a little tighter. Players hovering around the top of the odds board have enjoyed success recently with defending champ Justin Thomas going off at around 20/1 last year. In 2024 Scheffler was the odds on favorite and prevailed by three swings.
