With three teams in the NFC West boasting six wins entering Week 10 of the NFL season, the division is the strongest in the league. Two of those teams square off on Sunday when the Los Angeles Rams visit the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET on November 9, 2025 from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA. The game will air on FOX.
Rams at 49ers Preview
The Rams haven’t lost since falling to the 49ers in Week 5 winning their last three games behind a defense that’s surrendered only 20 points in those games. In what could have been a letdown spot for LA, they dominated New Orleans, 34-10, last week covering the 14.5-point spread on the NFL betting line for their third straight payout and sixth in eight games.
At 6-2 entering the week the Rams are tied with Seattle for first, a half-game ahead of the Niners. The Week 5 game is to this point LA’s only one against a division foe. The Rams were a big favorite over the shorthanded Niners and never led, instead losing in overtime when Kyren Williams was stopped short on a fourth-and-1 play.
- Matthew Stafford leads the NFL with 21 TD passes and he has the fifth-best passer rating at 113.2 leading an offense that ranks among the top 10 in average yards and points.
- The defense has held four opponents to 10 points or less this season and the Rams boast the No. 2 ranked scoring defense allowing 15.9 points per game.
- The Rams lost the turnover battle in just one game, the Week 5 tilt with the Niners when they fumbled twice and failed to create a turnover. Overall they have a plus-5 turnover margin.
- The Rams are 3-0 SU and ATS this season as a road favorite of 3 or more points and since the 2023 season they are 8-0 SU and 7-1 ATS.
Despite their injuries the Niners have been able to keep pace in the NFC West, partly because they are undefeated in three games against division foes. They are hopeful an offensive outburst in last week’s 34-24 win over the Giants carries over. The Niners put up a season high point total and amassed 380 yards against the G-Men.
Mac Jones has filled in admirably for Brock Purdy going 5-2 in seven starts and throwing for 1,832 yards with 10 TDs. His best game of the season came against the Rams in Week 5 when he threw for 342 yards and 2 TDs and didn’t turn the ball over. The Niners are 23rd in the NFL averaging 21.6 points.
- Already without Nick Bosa and Fred Warner, the Niners lost DT Mykel Williams to a knee injury in last week’s game.
- Christian McCaffrey had a huge game last week rushing for 106 yards and a TD and catching 5 passes for 67 yards and a score. He now leads the NFL with 1,222 scrimmage yards.
- The Niners are 1-4 SU and 2-3 against the NFL betting odds in their last five games as a home dog of 3 points or more.
Rams at 49ers Predictions
Facing a depleted 49ers squad in Week 5 caught the Rams off guard. It’s easy to let out a heavy sigh when several of the opponents top players are on the shelf. That won’t happen this week and the Rams will be ready. With their aggressive defense harassing Mac Jones I like the visitors to cover.
