NASCAR Hollywood Casino 400 Odds & Predictions

The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Kansas Speedway for the running of the Hollywood Casino 400. The course hosted drivers for the AdventHealth 400 in May with Kyle Larson winning his second straight race. Given his recent success on the track Larson opened as the NASCAR odds betting favorite. The green flag drops at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 28 from the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS. The race will air on USA Network.

NASCAR Hollywood Casino 400 Preview

Opening odds suggest a close race for the checkered flag. Larson has the shortest odds of five drivers at less than 8/1, which includes last week’s winner of the Mobil 1 301 Ryan Blaney. Defending champ Ross Chastain became the ninth different winner in nine years and looks to become the first back-to-back champ since Joey Logano won his second straight in 2015. He’s a bit further down the odds board and could offer some betting value, while Logano has the most wins of any driver in this race with three.

Kyle Larson +405

Had his best finish in the last four races placing 7th last week in New Hampshire.
Larson has been a beast at Kansas Speedway with his 3 wins tied for his most on any course.
He has six wins on intermediate tracks since the start of the 2023 season, two of them in Kansas.
With his win at Kansas in May Larson became the first back-to-back winner of the AdventHealth 400.

Tyler Reddick +1108

Currently sits outside the top 8 in the playoff hunt but can make up ground with a win.
He’s yet to win a race this season after posting multiple victories in each of the three previous years.
Won this race in 2023 earning points in every Stage.
Three of his 8 career wins and 12 top 3s have come on intermediate tracks.

Ross Chastain +1401

Handles intermediate tracks well with half of his six career wins and 17 top 5s.
Has two wins and six top 5s in his last 11 starts on intermediate tracks.
Chastain had the fastest practice session at Kansas Speedway and won this race last year.

Joey Logano +1446

Logano has finished among the top 5 in each of his last three starts.
He has three career wins and 9 top 5s at Kansas Speedway.
More than one-third (13) of his 37 career wins have come on intermediate tracks with 53 finishes inside the top 5.

You have to believe drivers currently outside the top 8 in the playoff picture will be amped. That means take a good look at Chastain, Reddick, Austin Cindric and Bubba Wallace. Larson has had a lot of success recently on this course but holds little value with his price. And he’s locked into the Round of 8.

Considering his price and his success at Kansas and on intermediate tracks, Logano could bring a nice payout. Not to be left out of the picture in terms of value is Alex Bowman at +150 to finish Top 10. His price gives you some value in terms of the NASCAR betting odds.
