  • He’s also won twice at Phoenix in his last three starts on the course.

Joey Logano +1250

  • A win at Phoenix Raceway last year gave Logano his second NCS Championship in three years and third overall.

  • His four wins at Phoenix are the most among active drivers with two of those coming in his last six starts.

NASCAR Cup Series Championship Predictions

The four drivers in contention for the NCS Championship don’t have to win the race to claim the prize, but it does leave no doubt. And that’s why Hamlin is a popular driver and the favorite to win. One of the top drivers on the circuit has never won the season-ending crown with this being his best opportunity. Combine that with his success at Phoenix and it’s hard not to back him. Blaney will be driving with a chip on his shoulder after being denied a chance at the title, and he’s come close to winning for the first time on this track a number of times.
