Longtime conference rivals renew a bitter feud that’s been dormant for eight years when the Memphis Tigers take on the Louisville Cardinals. The schools competed on the hardwood in several different leagues until Louisville joined the ACC in 2014 essentially putting an end to a series that has been played 90 times.
After suffering their first loss of the season at Arkansas last week, the Cardinals regained their winning formula improving to 8-1 with a decision over then No. 22 Indiana. Louisville got as high as No. 6 in the national rankings before dropping to 11th with their loss to the Razorbacks.
