LIV Golf UK 2025 Betting Odds & Tournament Preview
Making the transition from the end of major championship season back to the regular season a little easier, LIV stays in across the pond for this week’s LIV Golf UK. That should be a benefit for the 19 players who competed in The Open in Northern Ireland. Among them Bryson DeChambeau had the best finish at T10 though placing that high on the leaderboard looked like a dream following the first round. Tied for 144th in the 156-man field after 18 holes, DeChambeau carded a 65 on Day 2 making the cut by one shot. He went 16-under over the last three rounds closing with a tournament low 64. That run of golf helped position DeChambeau as the outright favorite on the LIV Golf betting odds this week just ahead of Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton.
2025 LIV Golf UK Overview
LIV Golf UK, the 11th of 14 tournaments on the season slate, is scheduled to be played from July 25 through July 27 at the 7,276-yard, par-71 JCB Golf and Country Club in Rocester, England. LIV Golf makes its fourth stop in the UK having played in this part of the world in each of the last three years. The first two tournaments were hosted by the Centurion Club near London, including the very first LIV event in which Charl Schwartzel won by one shot over fellow South African Hennie du Plessis. Jon Rahm won for the first time on the LIV tour claiming the title at JCB last year finishing one shot better than Joaquin Niemann and Tyrrell Hatton. The trio joins DeChambeau as the only players with shorter than 10/1 opening odds. Closing with odds around 38/1 Talor Gooch emerged as the winner last time out at LIV Golf Andalucia for his fourth career title, leaving him as one of three LIV golfers with at least that many wins. LIV Golf UK will be televised on FOX networks.

2025 LIV Golf UK Top Contenders
Bryson DeChambeau +500
Not known as a strong links player DeChambeau surprised even himself with last week’s showing at The Open. It would have been easy to call it in after opening with a 78, but the competitive spirit showed up. DeChambeau was 16-under over the final 54 holes with that number just one behind winner Scottie Scheffler’s final tally. And DeChambeau’s been on a hot streak lately finishing among the top 10 in six of his last seven LIV starts, including a win in Korea. In addition he had three top 10 finishes in a major.
Talor Gooch +2000
When Gooch gets hot he tends to stay that way so backing him looks like a smart play. His first three LIV titles all came in the span of five starts back in 2023. He started to pick up the pace recently with a solo third in Korea and a T10 in Virginia. And as he gets warmed up keep in mind he has a pair of top 10s in this event with one at each of the two host venues.
Louis Oosthuizen +3300
Either Oosthuizen is going to win or I will stop backing him. He’s come close, finishing among the top 10 in nearly half of his last 17 LIV starts and some of his best paydays have come in this tournament. Oosthuizen finished in the top 10 in three previous starts, racking up a T10 and solo fourth at the Centurion Club. Last year at JCB he finished four shots off the lead earning a share of sixth.
Jon Rahm +600
Last year’s champ will have something to say after his worst finish in a major in his last five starts. We typically see Rahm near the top of the leaderboard at every event he plays so a T34 at The Open was a shock. He should also feel good about playing JCB, a course he destroyed with a tournament low score of 63 in the opening round. Rahm overcame a 3-shot deficit in the final round to win by a shot over a trio of players for his first LIV title.
Cameron Smith +2500
There’s been some good golf mixed in with a lot of inconsistent play as we try to figure out which direction Smith is headed. He hasn’t won since Bedminster in 2023 and it looked like he was getting close with three top 10s in four starts earlier this year. That run came after a strong run on the DP World Tour to close 2024. There’s been enough time between those hot spells for Smith to shine again, and he did at JCB last year finishing just one shot behind Rahm.

With shorter tournaments and no cuts, LIV Golf is ripe for alternate market betting. Check out this betting guide for more info if backing an outright winner is a tough choice. It feels like Smith is ready for a breakout win after coming so close here last year. Also, is anyone hotter than DeChambeau?
