It was not a good week at the Masters for LIV Golf stalwarts Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau. Rahm finished 13 shots off the pace at Augusta and DeChambeau missed the cut. The two have dominated LIV, though, with DeChambeau winning the last two tournaments and Rahm winning before that. So it isn’t surprising to see them at the top of the LIV Golf odds for this week’s LIV Golf Mexico City.
What Is LIV Golf Mexico City?
LIV Golf is back in action for the sixth tournament of the season and the first in three weeks. The field returns to Mexico City for the second straight year and for the fourth time overall to Mexico. The tournament relocated ahead of last season’s visit after playing in Mayakoba in 2023 and 2024. Also for the second year in a row LIV Golf Mexico City retains its spot in the middle of the season schedule
Where Is LIV Golf Mexico City Played?
Mexico City is more than 7,300 feet above sea level making Club de Golf Chapultepec the highest elevation of any LIV Golf host. Former LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman aided with course renovation after last year’s tournament adding length to a few holes, reshaping greens and removing several hundred trees on the property. The course stretches to 7,443 yards at par 71.
LIV Golf Mexico City Schedule
The tournament uses the standard LIV Golf shotgun start format with all 18 holes having a group of players tee off at the same time. The 4-day event runs from Thursday, April 16 to Sunday, April 19 with start times just after 12 p.m. ET on all four days. The field includes up to 57 players with no cut and a $30 million total prize pool.

LIV Golf Mexico City Betting Odds & Markets
It’ll be interesting to see how Rahm and DeChambeau react after stumbling at the Masters. That hasn’t changed the LIV Golf betting with those two perched atop the odds board as the only players with shorter than 10/1 odds. Between them Rahm and DeChambeau have won the last three LIV tournaments with DeChambeau becoming only the second player to win consecutive titles.
Cool under pressure, DeChambeau’s wins came in a playoff. And ironically it was Rahm he bested in South Africa last time out. DeChambeau needed extra holes to beat Richard Lee in Singapore with Rahm finishing fifth. Rahm did win in Hong Kong in March, but coming so close to more titles is frustrating. In six of the last eight tournaments he didn’t win, Rahm finished as runner-up.

Who Won LIV Golf Mexico City in 2025?
For the second year in a row Joaquin Niemann won south of the border finishing three shots better than Bryson DeChambeau and Lucas Herbert with a 16-under 197. He was the only player to finish with a total score under 200. At the 2024 season opening tournament in Mayakoba, Niemann opened with a 59 and beat Sergio Garcia in a playoff.
Captained by Rahm, Legion XIII is the defending LIV Golf Mexico City team champion, but they’ve yet to win a title this season.
