Following a 3-week break LIV Golf is back in action with the third annual LIV Golf Hong Kong. The first two tournaments of the season saw first time winners with Elvis Smylie winning in Riyadh and Anthony Kim getting his first title of any kind in 15 years with his triumph in Adelaide. Once constant has been Jon Rahm at the top of the odds board with the Spaniard the outright LIV Golf betting odds favorite.

What Is LIV Golf Hong Kong?

For the third straight year LIV Golf returns to Hong Kong for one of the premier tournaments on the season schedule. The event has taken place early in the year with 2026 being the second straight for the tournament as the third event on the season schedule. Where Is LIV Golf Hong Kong Played?

For the third straight season LIV Golf Hong Kong will be contested at the 6,711-yard, par-70 Hong Kong Golf club at Fanling. Established in 1889, Hong Kong GC has hosted more elite level golf tournaments than any course in Asia. One interesting part of the course is on holes 13 and 17 which share a large double green leading to potentially long putts.

LIV Golf Adelaide will be contested from Thursday-Sunday, March 5-8, in the third event using the new 72-hole format. In 2026 the field expanded to 57 players but there is still no cut line.

LIV Golf Hong Kong Betting Odds & Markets

It seems as though every time Jon Rahm plays he’s listed as the outright favorite on the LIV Golf betting board. This week is no exception with Rahm a big favorite to claim his 3rd individual LIV Golf title. However, Rahm hasn’t won a title of any kind since LIV Golf Chicago in 2024. Rahm was solo second in the first two events of the season and has been runner-up in the last four regular season events.

Bryson DeChambeau is the second favorite and along with Rahm are the only golfers with shorter than 10/1 opening odds. DeChambeau finished with a share of third in Adelaide. Playing four rounds actually hurt the favorites in the last event. Rahm closed with a 71 and DeChambeau a 74 and the third-round co-leaders were overtaken by Anthony Kim, who matched the tournament low round of 63.

Five former winners at Hong Kong GC are in the field led by defending champ Sergio Garcia and 2024 titlist Abraham Ancer. Tom McKibbin, Ben Campbell and Ian Poulter are all past winners of the Hong Kong open played on the same course.

Tied with two other players entering the final round, Garcia carded a 63 to finish at 18-under 192, three shots better than Burmester. Garcia also captained Fireballs GC to the team title.
