Saturday’s Baseball Night in America on FOX features two of the top teams in the National League when the Dodgers and Brewers collide. With wins over division foes on Tuesday both clubs held first place in their respective divisions.

The mighty Dodgers have been a .500 team over the last few weeks splitting their last 20 games. The Brewers took the first two of a weekday series from the Cubs giving them five wins in six games.

The middle game of a 3-game series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers is scheduled to be played on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at American Family Field in Milwaukee. First pitch is slated for 7:15 p.m. ET with television coverage provided by FOX.

• The Dodgers know the only thing that matters is getting to the postseason. They had injury problems last season and didn’t have the glossy record most figured they would. But they ran through the playoffs to secure another World Series title.
• During their 2025 playoff run the Dodgers put on a clinic sweeping the Brewers in the NLCS allowing only a single run in each of the four games. Milwaukee had a better regular season record than LA and won all six games during the season series.
• Despite having Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell on the IL, the Dodgers have maintained one of the better staff ERAs in the majors. Saturday’s probable Justin Wrobleski has picked up the slack and is one of the top hurlers in the league. He’s won five of his six starts sporting a 2.49 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 50.2 innings.
• The LA offense reignited during a recent stretch where they won six of seven games. They scored 45 runs in that span that included being shutout in their only loss. The Dodgers rank among the top 5 in numerous offensive categories including average, hits, home runs, OPS and runs per game.
• The Brewers are thriving again using the same formula that got them 97 wins and a NL Central title last year. The lineup isn’t imposing, but they don’t hurt themselves and pressure opponents with elite base running and aggressive small-ball tactics. They’ve been one of the more profitable teams on the MLB spread run-line.
• Since the start of the 2025 season the Brewers have been one of the best home teams in MLB. They are 15-9 on their home turf this season with eight wins in their last 10 games. And since the start of last season they have the third-best home winning percentage in all of baseball.

• In a playoff-like scenario you could expect tight, low-scoring games. All four postseason matchups a season ago played UNDER the closing total on the MLB betting line. And considering the teams rank among the top 3 in staff ERA this season runs could be hard to come by. 
• Despite a rocky outing in his season debut the Brewers are giving Robert Gasser another turn in the rotation. Gasser was named Saturday’s probable as the team continues to work around injuries to Brandon Woodruff and Quinn Priester. According to reports Gasser had more movement on his sweeper in last week’s start against Minnesota.

• In 16 games since the start of May the Brewers are 10-5-1 against the UNDER.
• The Dodgers have won 62.5 percent of their road games, the fourth-best success rate in MLB this season.
• Limiting base runners takes a big part of what Milwaukee does offensively off the table. LA pitchers have the lowest WHIP in the majors at 1.10.

• They haven’t had a lot of success against the Dodgers in the postseason, but the Brewers have been beasts during the regular year winning the last eight matchups.
• Gasser will be facing the Dodgers for the first time in the regular season. He pitched 2/3 of an inning last postseason allowing a hit and a walk.
• Seven of the last nine overall meetings, and each of the last four games in Milwaukee have cashed the UNDER on the MLB odds.
