College Football Week 10 | Top Bets & Odds Preview

There are plenty of great rivalry matchups for Week 10 and, more importantly, games with serious College Football Playoff implications.

A potential trap game comes from the Big 12 with the Iowa State Cyclones hosting the Arizona State Sun Devils. Kickoff time is Noon ET on TNT. Arizona State lacks the look of last year and is no longer ambushing opponents.

Also, in the Big 12, the resurgent Kansas State Wildcats could be setting a trap for the high-flying Texas Tech Red Raiders. Kickoff time is 3:30 p.m. on FOX.

The USC Trojans and Nebraska Cornhuskers retain strong brand recognition and are getting a 7:30 p.m. ET time slot on NBC that reflects such blueblood status.

From the SEC, the marquee matchup is the Tennessee Volunteers hosting the Oklahoma Sooners, who are coming off a tough loss to Ole Miss, at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Finally, the Ohio State Buckeyes will host the Penn State Nittany Lions in what was supposed to be a Big Ten Conference playoff. Instead, Penn State has an interim coach after firing James Franklin one year after he led them to the CFP Final Four, but it still has a talented team. However, the defending national champions will be difficult to beat at the Horseshoe. Kickoff time is Noon ET on FOX.

Notable CFB Week 10 Odds

Vanderbilt (+1.5) will catch betting handle for a road game against an overrated Texas Longhorns team that is failing to live up to expectations.  The Commodores are the most underrated contenders in college football and are coming off a gutsy home win over a tough Mizzou team. But Texas may have saved its season, rallying from a 38-21 4th quarter deficit to beat Mississippi State in overtime.

Georgia (-7.5) will draw attention in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party matchup against the Florida Gators, who are playing with an interim coach after firing Billy Napier.  Both teams are coming off a bye. Georgia is coming off its most impressive game of the season, a 43-35 home win over Ole Miss.

Colorado (+5.5) could draw betting action for a home game against the Arizona Wildcats. Both teams remain in bowl contention but have no margin for error. Colorado is coming off a 53-7 shellacking on the road against Utah. But Arizona has lost three of its last four games, and CU will want to atone for last week's debacle.

CFB Week 10 Predictions

Ohio State -20.5 vs. Penn State – Penn State is a capable team that can salvage a lost season with an upset over Ohio State. However, the Buckeyes boast the best defense in college football and realize that they can’t let up on the road to a repeat natty. Both teams are coming off byes. The Ohio State defense should suffocate the inept Penn State offense, which has lost its starting quarterback and is playing under an interim head coach.

Nebraska +6.5 vs. USC – This is the best opportunity for Matt Rhule and the Huskers to gain a signature win since last year’s home blowout over Colorado. USC remains soft and will be stepping into a potential cold weather trap at Nebraska, where the Huskers are showing improvement and resilience. The Huskers are getting an enticing price as the home college football betting dog.

Tennessee -3.5 vs. Oklahoma – Tennessee was expecting more in 2025 and now has no margin for error. The best way for UT coach Josh Huepel to quiet his critics would be to score a home win over a Mount Rushmore blueblood program. Following last week’s home loss to Ole Miss, fears of another Oklahoma November collapse are legitimate. Tennessee looked dominant in a win at Kentucky.

Kansas State +7.5 vs. Texas Tech – Although the Wildcats have suffered through a disappointing season, a win over Texas Tech would kill much of the pain for the preseason Big 12 favorites. Resurgent K-State is coming off a satisfying blowout with an easy payout against Kansas and has momentum.

Iowa State -2.5 vs. Arizona State – Following a hot start, the Cyclones have been fading. But this is the type of spot where Iowa State ruins the season of its opponent in front of a raucous crowd at Jack Trice Stadium. Arizona State is coming off a disappointing home loss to Houston and has fallen to 91st in the country for points scored. ASU lacks the surprise element of 2025.
