Clarke vs Tshikeva: Boxing Odds & Picks

It looks like the much anticipated fight between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie Tshikeva for the vacant British heavyweight title will finally take place. Postponed once already following an apparent rib injury to Tshikeva, the bout is scheduled for Saturday, November 29.

Openly frustrated by the delay, Clarke is eager to get back in the ring after winning just one of his last three fights. The win was a beaut, though, stopping Ebenezer Tetteh less than 2 minutes into the first round of his last bout.

Suffering just the second loss of his career, Tshikeva also has some pent up aggression. He wants to prove he’s a championship contender following a controversial loss to David Adeleye in his most recent bout.

Clarke vs. Tshikeva Fight Preview

  • Clarke is undefeated against fighters not named Fabio Wardley. In two recent bouts against the unbeaten WBO interim heavyweight champ, Clarke went the distance in a brutal 12-round draw. The rematch in October 2024 ended with Clarke getting KO’d in the first round.
  • Proving his last fight with Wardley was an outlier, Clarke demolished Ebenezer Tetteh inside of two minutes showing his power and confidence were intact.
  • Clarke enters the fight with a record of 9-1-1 with seven of his victories by knockout.
  • A standout amateur, Clarke won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, silver at the 2017 European Championship and secured bronze at the 2020 Olympics.
  • Making his professional debut in 2022, Clarke stopped Jake Darnell in the first round, the first of three straight KO wins putting him on the fast track to compete for a regional title.
  • Tshikeva, also known as TKV, built a solid resume in a short time for a shot at the title. In late 2024 he stopped Franklin Ignatius with a barrage of punches in the sixth round scoring his most impressive victory. He followed that with a ninth-round TKO of Michael Webster in Feb. 2025 setting the stage for a showdown with David Adeleye.
  • Most observers felt TKV out-boxed Adeleye in their April 2025 bout. However, two trips to the canvas in the sixth round put a disputed end to the fight. The result led to widespread controversy with the British Boxing Board of Control ordering a rematch review.
  • Tshikeva enters with a record 8-2-0 with five knockout wins.

Clarke vs. Tshikeva Predictions

  • Though Clarke didn’t win, just getting in the ring with Fabio Wardley raises the bar significantly. Clarke held his own in the initial bout earning praise and making him a big boxing betting odds favorite in this fight.
  • To shorten the odds it’s better to pinpoint a round and method of victory if you’re backing Clarke. Seven of Clarke’s nine wins came by stoppage with five of those coming in the first two rounds.
  • TKV will certainly use his disputed loss to Adeleye as motivation. “This is my chance to set the record straight. People saw what happened last time. On fight night I’m going to show that I belong at the top of British boxing and that I’m ready to be champion,” he said.
