With the lone team event of the season out of the way it’s back to fending for yourself with the PGA Tour heading to Florida for the Cadillac Championship. A new event on the schedule, the tournament was given Signature status to attract a strong field, and it worked. Scottie Scheffler opened as the outright PGA golf odds betting favorite. The field will navigate the Blue Monster at Trump National Doral in Miami.
What Is the Cadillac Championship?
We don’t often see new tournaments added to the PGA Tour rotation with most changing title sponsor or venue to necessitate a name change. This week’s Cadillac Championship is new and it’s the first of two straight Signature Events. There have been tournaments played at Trump’s course and others having the name “Cadillac” in the title. However, the Tour has stated this Cadillac Championship is a brand new tournament.
Where Is the Cadillac Championship Played?
The Blue Monster at Trump National Doral will serve as host of a PGA Tour event for the first time in a decade. It previously hosted the Tour every year from 1962 to 2016. The massive layout stretches to 7,739 yards at par 72. The property underwent an extensive renovation in 2014 and hosted a LIV Golf tournament just last year.
The Cadillac Championship Schedule
A limited field of 72 players will peg it up this week at the Cadillac Championship. The four-day tournament starts on Thursday, April 30 and concludes on Sunday, May 3. There is no cut line so the entire field will play for the $3.6 million first place prize from a total purse of $20 million.
How to Watch the Cadillac Championship
The 2026 Cadillac Championship can be seen through a combination of traditional television and streaming services. Golf Channel, CBS and ESPN+ will provide extensive coverage of this Signature Event. Early round coverage on Golf Channel runs from 2-6 p.m. ET and on the weekend from 1-3 p.m. ET. Afternoon weekend broadcasts will air on CBS from 3-6 p.m. ET. Paramount+ streams CBS’s weekend coverage and ESPN+ streams featured groups and holes for the entire tournament.
The Cadillac Championship Betting Odds & Markets
Even if he hadn’t been playing good golf Scottie Scheffler would’ve been the favorite to win the 2026 Cadillac Championship. Now that he seems to have found his groove, Scheffler is just a bigger favorite in the outright market. Coming off back-to-back runner-up finishes at the Masters and RBC Heritage, Scheffler is priced significantly shorter than the rest of the field.
A quick glance at PGA Tour betting odds gives you a good idea about the field. Scheffler won’t be contested by Rory McIlroy and his price will have experts looking down the board for better value. Several players have potential led by Collin Morikawa, who has finished among the top 10 in six straight tournaments. He’s among a host of players boasting between 20/1 and 35/1 odds on the early betting board.

The world’s fifth-ranked player is back in action for the first time since his T3 at the Masters. It’s been a whirlwind season for Justin Rose returning from back surgery to win the TGL title and the hardware at the Farmers in February. Rose is also a past winner at Trump National taking the WGC event held at Trump’s place in 2012.

Who Won the Cadillac Championship in 2025?
Someone this week will become the first player to win the Cadillac Championship. The debut tournament takes place on a familiar course, though.
