The Atlanta Braves take the best record in the majors into their contest with Cincinnati on Saturday’s Baseball Night in America on FOX. The Braves have opened the biggest lead of any team in baseball and are threatening to run away with the NL East.

The Reds have held their own in the tough NL Central taking the first two games of a weekday set from the Mets for their third straight win overall and fifth in six games. Despite being four games over .500 after Tuesday’s win, the Reds have a minus-24 run differential.

In 17 innings over his last four starts Singer has an 8.47 ERA and has surrendered nine home runs. The Reds are 0-4 in those games.
