Arizona at Connecticut Predictions
- Arizona’s frontcourt had a tough time against UCLA with Motiejus Krivas (10), Koa Peat (7) and Tobe Awaka (8) combining for 25 points. Between them they average almost 35 points. UConn’s experienced, and large post players give them a better chance of winning if they can limit the trio.
- The Cats have weapons on the perimeter, though, making them difficult to defend. With his bigs having trouble scoring, Anthony Dell’Orso came up large against UCLA scoring a team-high 20 points making 4 of 7 3-pointers. He’s shooting 45 percent from distance this season.
- Arizona has held its last three opponents to 67 points or less and according to kenpom.com they are 12th in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency. All three of those games played UNDER the total in college basketball odds.
- Following wins over New Haven, UMass Lowell and Columbia by an average of 38 points, the Huskies faced their stiffest test of the young season on Saturday.
